Fendi x Mr.Doodle

The newest seasonal collection to drop from Fendi is the Fendi X Mr. Doodle. London based artist Sam Cox is the brain child behind the Mr. Doodle, his works consumer walls, furniture and many other surfaces. With a continued virus like pattern that seem to never end, his works are often referred to as 'graffiti spaghetti'. With a continuous cluster of characters, objects and patterns grouped together in a formation that seems forever growing.  Fendi has collaborated with Mr.Doodle to bring out a sensational collection which really encapsulates the novelty behind Mr.Doodles creativity.  From lining the Peakaboo bag to covering apparel in this brilliant 'graffiti spaghetti', this extremely limited collection is probably one of my favourite Fendi has released this year.

Fendi's newest collection

California Sky! The collection on so many peoples mind.  I must say i was incredibly surprised when Fendi dropped its latest collection,  the theme revolved around a muted black and white colour scheme. Which isnt the bright summery colour scheme i had predicted would come from Fendi - who in the past has been all about using colour as a way to express their brand. I have also found this new collection is probably one of the most afforable collections Fendi has ever brought out. With the ever present FF logo, this new collection showcases a collection that is elegant yet still modern.  I have to say, i am both pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of athleisure and similarly astounded that Fendi is really broadening its scope. This collection is also probably one of the most affordable collections Fendi has produced in a while.  Fabric leggings retailing for $790. Even though i haven't been a fan of knit in the past, i am really enjoying this new guitar bag. With a m...

Louis vuitton digital pre-launch

Louis Vuitton is extending their pre-launch party to a virtual audience, and i am in love. With a new pallet of seasonal colours, Louis Vuitton has new styles of the Dauphine (Pictured) in the original monogram canvas along with a wide array of colours.  The new edit also includes the new bad made famous by many instagram influencers, the LV point 9. This design has really changed the way LV is perceived by the younger generation, with a more milder toned bag without the canvas print, this new LV point 9 is a leather only bag with a large LV Logo. But my favourite new bag that has been added to the LV family is montosouris backpack, available in 3 absolutely stunning colours, dark grey brown (Tourterelle), white(creme) and black(noir).  This new backpacks will set you back a pretty penny, the online exclusive cost $3900. With the fashion house reinterpreting the 1994 iconic montsouris backpack - a golden buckle, playful yet subtle LV charm and leather interior the iconic membe...

Gucci - off the grid

In the last decade reusable materials have really been the focus of many within the fashion landscape. With Ralph Lauren pioneering this incentive by  introducing the 'Earth polo' incentive which has removed nearly 8 million bottles from the ocean, and recycled them into shirts. Gucci has officially jumped on this bandwagon with their newest collection, 'The sustainable collection'. Personally, i am really impressed with high fashion labels doing their best to really emphasis the global issue of recycling. The incentive by Ralph Polo was a real game changer in this landscape.  It was this driving force that really changed Gucci's new collection 'bringing positive change in order so secure our collective future'. The new collection is titled Gucci equilibrium - and it is their commitment to generate positive change for people and our planet. With a low key feel to each new piece created and in hughes of burnt organge, black and yellow this new collection comp...

Why Louis Vuittons Never full never fails.

The Neverfull is arguably Louis Vuitton's best selling bag. Not only because it is the most iconic in its monogramed prints, but it is the most recognisable bag because so many women have it on their arm. From new mum baby bags to the ever faithful work bag. Louis Vuitton managed to create a chic bag that fills almost everybodies needs.  i love that the Neverfull can fit so much, yet still maintain an elegant stylish feel about it. On the outside i have a designer bag on my shoulder, while inside i have my packed lunch, notebook, wallet and a book. My whole life fits in that one bag. It's convenient, it's flexible and most important it is a bag that grows with you throughout your life changes.  The price tag is not too steep as far as designer bags are concerned, sure the Neverfull will set you back $2000 but it is well worth it for a bag that can last through your different phases of life. With all these great qualities, it's not hard to see why the Neverfull is litera...

Dior proves COVID doesn't stop fashion

As this week marks arguably one of the most important weeks in the couture calendar, there is a tinge of sadness in the air. With current constraints the idea of hundreds of people cramped into convention centres and buildings was an unfathomable possibility. With usual catwalk shows on hold due to social distancing measures and  ateliers undergoing closures for periods of time, designers have been scrambling to adapt to this new modern world.  Enter digital fashion shows that not only showcase the most expensive fashion in the world, but also completely innovating the idea of brings couture for the masses.  Dior was the first notable couture company that dazzled the masses with their first ever fashion show. While it may seem strange for most to be watching the likes if designer Maria Grazia Chirui, completely wow the greater population with her latest collection. I for one loved this new idea, because someone like me, who isn't a fashion model, influencer of notable nam...

Is the vegan leather the new must have in affordable designer?

The Birkin and Kelly bags are hands down one of the most must haves that every hand bag lover dreams of one day owning, only minus the giant price tag. As much as these bags are stunningly beautiful, the price tag carries four too many zeros for my liking, and honestly as much as i love these bags the eyewatering price tag is somewhat off putting. I am not alone with my desire to one day own a Kelly, but in the meantime exploring different brands seem like a viable alternative.  The issues with hermes most sought after bags (Apart from the limited quantityness of them) each of these bags are made with crocodile skin, bovine, calf or even ostrich skin. Sustainability is the IT word in the fashion world. Finding a parallel crossroad where fashion can be both stylish and sustainable is something that designers are grappling with.  How to make handbags look stylish and elegant,  while still maintaining the integrity of being both sustainable and affordable?  Enter London...
