Is the vegan leather the new must have in affordable designer?

Femni london

The Birkin and Kelly bags are hands down one of the most must haves that every hand bag lover dreams of one day owning, only minus the giant price tag. As much as these bags are stunningly beautiful, the price tag carries four too many zeros for my liking, and honestly as much as i love these bags the eyewatering price tag is somewhat off putting. I am not alone with my desire to one day own a Kelly, but in the meantime exploring different brands seem like a viable alternative.

The issues with hermes most sought after bags (Apart from the limited quantityness of them) each of these bags are made with crocodile skin, bovine, calf or even ostrich skin. Sustainability is the IT word in the fashion world. Finding a parallel crossroad where fashion can be both stylish and sustainable is something that designers are grappling with.  How to make handbags look stylish and elegant,  while still maintaining the integrity of being both sustainable and affordable?

Enter London based vegan leather company FEMNI.

They produce not only some of the most stylish types of bags in vegan leather format, but they aren't expensive (Which i think is so fantastic because more people can enjoy the beauty behind this company's designs).
 Femni Colchester v2 Crossbody Bag

One of my favourite bag in this collection is Femni clochester V2 Crossbody Bag, which to me looks like one of the most expensive leather bags found in the Hermes Kelly collection retails for $89.89.

Or my personal favourite, a very Versace  esque looking top handle bag.
Femni Vegan Dorchester Crossbody Bag

The Femni vegan Dorchester cross body bag, retailing for $75.51.

For me these bags tick many boxes, they are stylish, vegan, high quality and most importantly they don't carry a price tag that will break my bank account.

I love this brand, and while it may not be high fashion like, Dior, Louis Vuitton, or Celine these brand is quickly rising in ranks and bringing luxury to a more affordable market.

check them out FEMNI LONDON for more in affordable  designer.

Vivrelle - game changer in the luxury retail market

I like many of you love fashion, but staying relevant in fashion can be really hard. From Valentino to Chanel and Celine to Prada, the seasons are bustling with new statement pieces that i want in my closet.  But fashion, especially luxury fashion can be such an expensive endeavour to keep up with. And with most of my paycheck going towards one bag, it can be very difficult to be constantly updating and changing my wardrobe. While most of us look at posts from high fashion influencers like Chiara Ferragni and Jessica Stein, and their ever evolving wardrobe of luxury handbags and fantasise about what new bag to add to our collection. They change bags weekly and move onto a different brand, size and colour, making it difficult to emulate these fashion icons. I love buying a new bag, the smell of new leather and the feeling of peeling the little plastic away from the clasp (is probably my favourite part) no matter the brand, size or colour i find it just as exciting no matter whic...

COVID impact on luxury

2020 has been one giant... i'm just going to say it Cluster duck of a year. But from trial comes triumph, with some companies absolutely flourishing and some gurgling down the toilet. The unfortunate need for companies to pivot, has left some with no choice but to close down. From fashion shows being streamed online, and shop closures. Luxury has relied heavily on their online presence to continue their revenue and trading through the pandemic. With many economist predicting an economic down turn, decrease in sales and all round shrinkage in the luxury niche.  I am of the opinion that the luxury category was only minimally affected by this crisis, and i think the recent black Friday sales have proved that the desire for luxury items is well and truly alive and well. With Valentino nearly selling out of their sale items within the first 48 hours.  I know crazy right?! and Valentino wasn't the only luxury brand that experienced literal sell out crowds, with Dior, Balenciag...
