Gucci - off the grid

In the last decade reusable materials have really been the focus of many within the fashion landscape. With Ralph Lauren pioneering this incentive by  introducing the 'Earth polo' incentive which has removed nearly 8 million bottles from the ocean, and recycled them into shirts. Gucci has officially jumped on this bandwagon with their newest collection, 'The sustainable collection'. For me, Seasonalities were the staple behind luxury designer brands showcasing the newest creation and collection that adapts to the season at hand. However, being an Australian, the...

Pre- fall 2020. Luxury designers scramble to release their latest fashion master pieces.  Gucci - pre-fall, the excitement was felt amongst the millenial generation as they cued in front of the marble doors awaiting to see the latest.  It's no secret in the last 10 years Gucci has lead the charge in the most sought after designer brand, especially among the millennial generation. if i'm not mistaken it was part of the reason the saying 'It's all Gucci' cottoned on and became the newest slang term to describe when things going well.  Let's not forget the Gucci slides, that have been on everyone's wish list, since the brand targeted the younger generation.  With the introduction of the new collection, Gucci diversified itself from the luxury market. With the introduction of pastel colours that add a light hearted feel to the newest collection, medling in with the tradition tan printed Gucci logo.   image reference:  https://www.gucci.com/au/en_au/pr/women/han...
